2013 Scholarship Applications are Now Available!

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Phi Beta Omega Chapter provides grants annually to students and/or organizations whose goals mirror and/or support our national initiatives.

The Dr. Betty James Robinson Youth Scholarship is awarded to a student who is a graduating high school senior residing in Bucks or Montgomery County, who has maintained a 2.7 grade point average on a 4.0 scale, and who is experiencing financial difficulty. The R.O.S.E. Scholar Scholarship (Recognizing Opportunities for Service and Education) is awarded to a student who is a graduating high school senior residing in Bucks or Montgomery County, who has maintained a 3.2 grade point average on a 4.0 scale, and who exemplifies exceptional community service involvement. This scholarship is awarded in conjunction with The R.O.S.E. Foundation. For additional information visit: www.therosefdn.org.

The Second Chance College Scholarship is awarded to a student who resides in Bucks or Montgomery County. The student must be currently enrolled and has completed at least one semester of college. The student must be at least 21 years of age and hold a 2.7 grade point average on a 4.0 scale. To download the scholarship information, click here.

 

The Dr. Wanda Lewis-Campbell Education and Leadership Grant is awarded to individuals or organizations who have made significant and sustainable changes in education and cultural systems. The organization’s goal should be to strengthen educational leadership through enhancement of student achievement and participation in the arts and culture.
